Happy TMI Tuesday!

I Have Weak Ankles

sustained from an old injury. They only flare up every once and again. Enough to make me fall head over heels on occasion.

My hair grows like a weed. I cut off six inches two or three weeks ago and now, I can barely tell a difference.

I grow my fingernails long and smooth and rounded. I used to file them into sharp little points once upon a time, but I’ve grown out of that phase.

I keep my feet in pedicures… they’re one of the few luxuries I really, really indulge in.

I have a soft heart and it makes me cry easily for animals, small children, the suffering of others, and the beautiful agony that is my own suffering.

I have a strong will that lets me struggle and strive.

I have an unhealthy relationship with food and consequently, my body, that my personal trainer is trying to break me of; instead of seeing food as sustenance, which is all it is, I see it as both the enemy and comfort, depending on my mood.

My favorite parts of my body are all the little bony places: my wrists and ankles, my collarbones and hipbones, the tiny points where my ribs poke out beneath my breasts.

I want, more than anything, to travel, penniless, through the world, making my way the only way I know how.

But that thought frightens me too, because I know the terrible, squeezing grip of poverty well, the way it makes you unable to breathe, the anxiety it gives you, the scars it leaves… and I never want to know it so intimately, ever again.

They say people who drink whiskey straight are real alcoholics. I prefer to think of myself as a connoisseur.

My compartmentalizing skills are legendary: they are how I survive but also have the propensity to ruin me utterly.

The bottom part of the year is my favorite. Autumn is passing into Winter, and the cold air soothes my spirit. I’ve been listening to Christmas music like I need it to live, and I’ve had a roaring fireplace every night for a week… warranted, by the way.

I want something dangerous and exciting and new to happen to me very soon.

TMI Tuesday: Serious Business Pants: ON.

Let’s Get Serious

tmituesday serious

1. What are you most afraid of?

Drowning, dying… abandonment.

2. Do you believe in life after death?

I’d really like to believe in reincarnation. That life goes on.

3. What is your purpose?

My purpose is to help people.

4. Where are you going?

Wonderful places.

5. Do you fear hell? Why or why not?

I don’t believe in hell. And if I did, I certainly wouldn’t fear it. They’d have a place reserved for me.

6. Do you feel free?

Some days… I feel free as a bird riding thermals.

Bonus: Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but people don’t point to their crotch when asking where is the bathroom?

I’ve seen people point to their crotch when asking for the bathroom.

TMI Tuesday: Never Far From My Thoughts

Some things to think about

tmi thinking

1. Name something you always carry with you?

My heart on my sleeve and my intentions in my eyes.

2. Is there anyone on your mind at the moment? Who? Why?

Yes. I’m sure he knows. Always, at least once a day.

3. If you were to be remembered for one thing, what would it be?

If my funeral were tomorrow, people would say: she had such a big heart. I hope, someday, to be remembered for more than that.

4. Tell us something new that you learned in the last month?

Nothing is ever what it seems. The spirit of a person can be unbreakable.

5. What are you pretending not to know? Why?

Many truths and some lies. Because it’s easier just to keep the peace.

6. Are you happy with other people’s perception of you?

I want to be the person that says that I don’t give a fuck and mean it, but that’s not true. With that being said, you can never really know what a person actually thinks about you, so I do my level best to try not to worry about it too much.

7. Are you generally focused on today or tomorrow?

I’m generally focused on the moment. I’m always thinking about tomorrow. Lately I’ve been dwelling on yesterday.

Bonus:  How do you eat Oreos? Which method best matches your Oreo cookie eating style?
a. Pick it up, bite into it.
b. Twist it open, eat each half separately
c. Twist it open, eat the frosting, then eat each chocolate cookie half separately.

I always dunk my Oreos in milk! If I don’t have milk, I rarely eat oreos. But if I’m grabbing one and running, I usually twist it open and eat each half separately.

TMI Tuesday: Oddball

PICK ONE TMI

Pick one. You must pick one. You can elaborate on your answer if you want, but you must pick one.

1. Are you male or female or other?

Born a female, will die one too, because I love being a woman.

2. Dog or cat?

I have both, but I’m probably more of a cat person, because they take less maintenance.

3. Peanut butter or wasabi peas?

Peanut butter. Crunchy. On wheat bread with bananas and honey. Because that’s the only way one should eat peanut butter.

Briefly explain why you made the above choices.

Check!

4. Group midnight nude swim or ‘mooning‘ strangers?

Group midnight nude swim.

5. Sneaker Pimps or IAMX?

IAMX

6. Bologna or Braunschweiger?

…Chicken.

7. Vanilla or kinky?

Kinky.

8. Rocky road or chocolate ice cream?

Vanilla! 😀

9. Red M&M or green M&M?

Blue M&M

10. Pepsi or Coke?

Water, because I don’t drink soda.

11. Mini Cooper or Fiat Abarth?

Oh, roll your eyes and call me a Silly American if you like, but the answer will always be good old muscle, baby:

2014-Camaro-Zl1-1024x640

I mean, just look at this car. If this car were a man I would scale it like a fucking tree and never come off of him.

12. Pleasure or pain? Why? Explain yourself please.

I’ll take the pain, because it can bring me pleasure, and I’ve always been a fan of having my cake and eating it too.

Bonus:  Pick one – Participate in the London World Bike Naked Ride or Japan’s Festival of the Steel Phallus affectionately known as Penis Fest properly called Kanamara Matsuri.

London World Bike Naked Ride!

TMI Tuesday: My Body is Ready

Preparing the Body

tmi couple_sex

1. Do you prefer your lover:

a) fresh from the bath and perfumed?
b) fresh from the bath without perfume?
c) clean but not right from the tub or shower?
d) slightly sweaty (or musky)?

B) especially if I helped them do the cleaning and D) I looooove the smell of a man who’s been sweating–working out, working, etc.

2. Do you maintain your body for sex with respect to facial hair, body hair, pubic hair, fingernails or toenails?

I maintain my body for me personally, rather meticulously, actually. But I suppose I do a once over before sex, sure.

3. Do you maintain/prepare according to your lover’s preferences?

Not usually, no. Though Sir has made me grow out my pubic hair before, because he likes a little tuft… also because I have a bit of a firecrotch, and he knows I’m slightly embarrassed by it.

4. Do you have body adornments such as piercings or tattoos for sexual reasons? Does your lover?

I have a tattoo that is representative of my sexuality and submission. I used to have a nipple piercing… that I’ve (lately) been seriously considering repiercing.

5. Do you choose any cosmetics, lubes, condoms or other sexually relevant items according to how they taste? Do you not use them because of the taste?

I generally don’t like the taste of flavored lubes and condoms.

6. Is there a taste or aroma that turns you on or that you can use to turn on your lover?

Everything about the scent of a man turns me on: skin, sweat, cologne. I’m most often complimented by the scent of my hair, my perfume (I have two scents that I use), and my skin.

Bonus: Do you prepare a room for sex–mood music, candles, scent, cleaning it or anything? Tell us about it.

Sometimes I put on music. Or sometimes it is already on. I’ve put on candles before, but I prefer a roaring fire. I don’t scent the room. And I keep my bedroom relatively clean. But I love to have sex on fresh, clean sheets.

TMI Tuesday: What’s My Sign?

This week TMI Tuesday looks at human character via astrology and personality tests.

You are such a character

tmi art monkey in a cage cartoon ep. 6 - you are such a character

1. What is your astrological symbol? Does it fit you?
Leo the Lion(ess). It certainly does. Don’t look at my embarrassing twitter feed. Sooooo many astrological retweets.

2. List 3 of the good traits of your astrological symbol to which you can relate.
Passionate, Loyal, Ambitious!

3. List 3 of the worst traits of your astrological symbol that you believe do not pertain to you.
That don’t pertain to me? Ergh. Well. They mostly do pertain to me. In fact I’ve never read a single one that I thought didn’t. So I’ll just list three negative traits!
Stubborn, Possessive, Egoistic.

4. What is your Chinese zodiac animal symbol?
I am the Horse.

5. In Chinese philosophy, The Theory of the Five Elements describes the interaction and relation of natural phenomena. The five elements of wood, fire, Earth, metal and water affect your zodiac sign. Which element are you? Find out here
According to the website above, I am the Fire element. Not surprising since the Leo is also ruled by Fire.

Bonus: Briefly tell us something you found interesting about your Chinese zodiac as it pertains to the Five Elements.
Probably what I said up there ^^ That Fire is a reoccurring element in my life.

Bonus, Bonus: What cartoon/comic character best describes you? Take the short personality test and share your results. Test: http://www.youthink.com/quiz.cfm?obj_id=1433
I got Bugs Bunny: “What`s up doc? You`re someone on a mission. You have a goal and a path and plan on achieving that. You work your way through obstacles and people that may get in your way very well solo, but can easily work with a team. You are very quick with the tongue, which to some may come off as being smug.

Interesting. The description fits pretty well.

If the Sky Could Dream, it Would Dream of Dragons

The lovely Mrs. Fever has graced me with a truly unique award and one that I gladly accept. I have had many dragons (chinese zodiac) in my life, and each one has left a lasting impression upon me. To accept this award from a Dragon is a special gift all its own. Thanks, Feve. Love ya, babe.

SEVEN THINGS

  • I take things like Zodiac pretty seriously even though I try not to. It’s really hard not to when you so rightfully match up with yours.
  • I used to want to be a psychologist, but I didn’t think that with my own mental disorder I could handle the stress of the job.
  • I leave little pieces of myself places. Every person in my life gets someone different… a piece of me that someone else might not get or understand. This blog gets the part of me that I share with no one, except for my partner(s), which is why I am quite wary about meeting people who know me via the blog, in spite of the deep sense of community I feel.
  • I have a hard time processing “in-betweens.” I tend to be all or nothing in everything I do, especially in my relationships with friends, family or lovers. If I love you, I would do anything for you. If I hate you, I wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. Naturally, this complicates things.
  • I’m a hypocrite through and through and I hate hypocrites! I hate secrets, but I keep plenty myself. I hate lies, but I lie like I get paid for it nearly every day. I hate Florida but I love the ocean. You get the picture.
  • My self esteem is in the toilet, but my self confidence is through the roof. I hate myself, but I am immeasurably arrogant. I believe (at times) that no one wants a thing to do with me, and then I tell myself that I can have anything that I want (and will go to incredible lengths to get it, if only for the ego boost it provides). Sometimes I wonder if I’m a terrible person, and sometimes I don’t care if I am.
  • I question my motivation for this blog on at least a bi-weekly basis. I’ve thought many times about deleting it, or making it all private. I wonder if it is a selfish collection of stories for me to look back upon when my time is up. I wonder if it really is a tool I use to decompress, or if it is a tool I use to communicate to Sir. I wonder if I just keep it up because it helps me feel less alone.

Dragon:  yang; symbol of power, strength, and good luck for people who are worthy of it; the most highly honored animal in the hierarchy; upwardly rising, though not as a phoenix; guarder of treasure, keeper of strength, ruler of all elements; benevolent and wise, but not without fierceness and pride.

Dragon Loyalty:  to demonstrate a willingness to fly, to learn, to ascend to new heights, to look ever upward, to be more; to guard what you treasure, to take pride in your values, and do so with fortitude and forbearance; to find strength in your scaly armor as well as the tender heart that armor guards.

DRAGON LOYALTY AWARDS

(for facing ever-upward, finding strength in the journey, and learning to fly)
I try not to assign awards to people who have already received them:

Hyacinth
Cara
Marian
LSAM
Sadey–as she embarks on a new journey. Good luck, dear. :]
I’d like to nominate my dear, dear Dawn, but Feve beat me to the punch. 😛

To those who would accept this award:  望子成龍 — Be As A Dragon
